TradeSpan Electrical operates as an intermediary service. When you submit a quote request through this website:
- Your enquiry is reviewed by TradeSpan Ltd
- Your details are shared with an independent qualified electrician covering your area
- The electrician contacts you directly to discuss your requirements and provide a quote
- Any agreement for work is made directly between you and the electrician
- TradeSpan Ltd is not a party to any contract between you and the electrician
No Guarantee of Availability
TradeSpan Ltd does not guarantee that a qualified electrician will be available in your area at the time of your request. We will inform you if we are unable to route your enquiry.
Electrician Independence
Electricians in the TradeSpan network are independent contractors. They are not employees or agents of TradeSpan Ltd. TradeSpan Ltd is not responsible for the quality, timeliness or outcome of any electrical work carried out by an independent electrician.
We request that electricians in our network hold relevant insurance and qualifications. However, it is your responsibility to verify the credentials of any electrician before authorising work to begin.
Quotes and Pricing
Any quote provided is issued by the independent electrician, not by TradeSpan Ltd. Prices are agreed directly between you and the electrician. TradeSpan Ltd has no involvement in pricing or payment.
Your Responsibility
By submitting a quote request, you confirm that:
- You are the property owner or have authority to request electrical work at the property
- The information you provide is accurate
- You will review any quote received before authorising work
- You understand that submitting a request does not obligate you to proceed
Complaints
If you have a concern about an electrician introduced through TradeSpan Electrical, or about how your enquiry was handled, please contact us at hello@tradespan.co.uk and we will review it. Complaints about the quality of electrical work should be raised directly with the electrician in the first instance.
Limitation of Liability
TradeSpan Ltd's liability in connection with this service is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from electrical work carried out by independent electricians introduced through this service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
